Doris Christine Lile Neeley, 94, South Virginia Street, died Wednesday , August 7, 2019 at her home of natural causes.
A Memorial Service will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. David Harrison officiating.
The body will be cremated.
A native of Christian County, Kentucky, she was born August 8, 1924 the daughter of the late Charles Walter Lile and Ollie Corley Lile.
She was a safety supervisor at Andrews Air Force in Rome, New York. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Hunting Creek Homemakers, the Hunting Creek Garden Club and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Albert "Al" C. Neeley, her brothers, Roscoe Lile, Raymond Lile, Herman Lile, Harold Lile, Howard Lile, and Fred Lile; and her sisters, Stacye Lile, Stella Carter, Irene Slingerland and Mabel Perkins.
Survivors include her nephews, William Lewis, and Doug Carter, Charles Lile, Marshal Lile and John David Lile, and Don Perkins; and her nieces, Lillian Carter, Carolyn Lile Stamper, Linda Perkins Bodie, and Becki Lile Paluzzi.
