Garry Shepherd

Garry Shepherd, 73, Irish Circle, died Saturday, August 17, 2019, at his home of natural causes.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. David Tucker officiating and Rev. Greg Giltner assisting. Burial will be at Peaceful Meadows Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at the funeral home.

A native of Hopkinsville, he was born June 28, 1946, the son of the late Clyde and Edna Joiner Shepherd.

He was a self-employed driver and had previously worked for Phelps Dodge and Mclean Trucking. He was a member of Second Baptist Church. He was in the choir and the Christian Crusader Sunday School. He sang for Southern Tradition and for Shepherd's Calling.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Kay Moore Shepherd, Hopkinsville; his sons, Ben (Brooke) Shepherd, Collierville, TN, Clint Shepherd, Hopkinsville; his sisters, Henrietta Drinkall, Manchester, TN, Carole Hale, Indian Trail, N. Carolina; and one grandson, Lucas Shepherd.
