George S Hodges

George S. Hodges, 81, Owen West Road, died 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at his home of natural causes.

The body will be cremated. A memorial service will be at a later date. Lamb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

A native of Chicago, Illinois, he was born May 3, 1937, the son of the late Dr. Harry D. Hodges and Hildegarde Harter Hodges.

He was a Army Veteran and a Major for the Florida Marine Patrol.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Hodges; his sons, Scott and Michael Hodges.

Survivors include his son, Brad (Lisa) Hodges, Christian County; his daughter, Mary Jane Bach, Okeechobee, Florida; his sisters, Judy Hodges, Memphis, TN, Candy Tufo, Illinois, 12 Grandchildren, and 3 Great Grandchildren.
