Jane E. McCargo

Jane E. McCargo, 91, Five Oaks Lane, Russellville, Kentucky, died on September 8, 2019 at Creekwood Place Nursing & Rehab Center in Russellville of natural causes.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday September 11, 2019 at Lamb Funeral Home with Leon Smith officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. 

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at the funeral home.

A native of Russellville, Kentucky, she was born February 5, 1928, the daughter of the late Thomas Goble and Mrytle Lucinda Stewart Gamblin.

She was a home maker and was a member of the Cross Roads Baptist Church in Morton's Gap.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth McCargo; her son, Gary McCargo; and her sister, Mae Harrellson.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Angie Harris and Kendall McCargo, both of Russellville, Kentucky; her brother, Truman Gamblin, Morton’s Gap; 5 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.
