Lillian Wells, 99, Old Fruit Hill Road, Crofton, Kentucky, died Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Covington's Convalescent Center of natural causes.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, September 9, 2019 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. Anthony Knight officiating. Burial will be in Judges Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour Monday, September 9, 2019 at the funeral home.
A native of Christian County, she was born April 2, 1920, the daughter of the late Cleatus Earnest and Grace Lula Manire Brinkley.
She worked in the oil fields and was a seamstress at Elk Brand Clothing Factory. She was a founding member of Judges Chapel Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl R. Wells; her sons, Lawrence Wells and Thurmond Wells; one daughter, Louise Kaetzel; one brother, Daniel Brinkley; two sisters, Lula Mae Jordan and Beatrice Vivian Wells.
Survivors include her son, James E. Wells, Christian County; her daughter, Glenda Sue Wells, Christian County; 8 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, and 11 Great-Great Grandchildren.
