Minnie Pearl Howell Johnson, 86, Eagle Cove Drive, Hopkinsville, Kentucky, died at 3:45 p.m. Sunday July 7, 2019 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, Kentucky of natural causes.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Lamb Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Ashby officiating.
Burial will be at Edgewood Cemetery, in Trenton, Kentucky.
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
A native of Montgomery Tennessee, she was born August 30, 1932 the daughter of the late Marion Andrew Haley and Sally Addie Murry Haley.
She was a well known waitress in Hopkinsville at the Horse Shoe, Fireside, Jerry's, Ivory Tower and the Holiday Inn and a member of Casky Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Billy Morris Howell and her second husband Estill Johnson and one son Steve Howell.
Survivors include two sons, Donnie ( Linda ) Howell, Crofton, Kentucky; Randy Howell, Hopkinsville, Kentucky; four sisters, Peggy Hicks, Cadiz, Kentucky; Mary Burnette, Ypsilanti, Michigan; Fay Schmittou, Hope Mills, N.C.; and Anna Lawson, Ypsilanti, Michigan; two grandsons and three great grandchildren.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorials to St. Judes Children's Hospital.
