Ronnie Spain, 58, Gospel Peace Road, died Monday, September 9, 2019 at TriStar Skyline Medical Center of natural causes.
A Celebration of Life will be at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Grace Ministries Church with David Spears officiating. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. The body will be cremated with interment to be in Peaceful Meadows Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until the service hour Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at the church.
A native of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, he was born on July 21, 1961, the son of the late Charles Richard Spain and Carolyn Peterson Thornberry.
He was a monitor at the local Salvation Army Shelter. He also worked for Budweiser Of Hopkinsville, Pennyrile Allied Community Services and Superior Graphite. He was part of HHS Class of 1980.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Joneil Spain.
Survivors include, his mother, Carolyn Thornberry; his fiancée, Monnie Sloan, Hopkinsville; his son, Richard (Ashley) Spain, Dexter, Kentucky; his daughters, Jennifer (John) Roeder, Cadiz, Kentucky; and Veronica (Adam) Milburn, Hopkinsville; 5 Grandchildren, Anna Roeder, Madison Spain, Charles Roeder, Brantley Lyon and Clara Roeder.
