Ann Cook, 83, Southgate Drive, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021 at her home of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Lamb Funeral Home with Corey Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour Saturday, July 3, 2021 at the funeral home.
A native of Hopkinsville, KY, she was born December 29, 1937, the daughter of the late Jewell Blankenship and the late Edna Mae (Austin) Blankenship.
Ann worked as a custodian at Sinking Fork Elementary School and attended Little River Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Urey David Cook; her son-in-law, Daniel Edward Hunter; her brothers, Jewell Clifton Blankenship and Roger Dale Blankenship; and her sister, Mary Katherine Blankenship.
Survivors include, her daughter, Barbara Jean Hunter, Hopkinsville, KY; her brothers, Leonard Earl "Sonny" (Lottie) Blankenship, Brooks, KY, Hershel Blankenship, Shepherdsville, KY, Doug (Vanessa) Blankenship, Bardstown, KY, Charles (Barbara) Blankenship, Hopkinsville, KY, James Blankenship, Louisville, KY, Henry (Joyce) Blankenship, Hopkinsville, KY, and Jimmie Berghammer, Hopkinsville, KY; her sisters, Eula West, Hopkinsville, KY, Vada (Charles) Hill, Hopkinsville, KY, Bessie (Buck) P'Pool, Shepherdsville, KY, Marie Hale, Hopkinsville, KY, and Margaret Bishoff, Brooks, KY; her granddaughters, Ashlea Hunter (Corey) Mullins, Cottontown, TN and Lindsey Hunter (Eddie) Frye, Hopkinsville, KY; her great-grandsons, Stone Elias Mullins and Michael Gary Lee Hunter Northrup.
