Austin Johnson

Austin Johnson, 84, W. 15th Street, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021 at his home of natural causes.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Lamb Funeral Home with Will Coleman officiating.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at the funeral home.

A native of Christian County, KY, he was born June 30, 1937, the son of the late William Austin Johnson and the late Pauline (Bracey) Johnson.

Austin was a truck driver for Watkins Express Freight. He was of the Lutheran faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Lynn Powell, his brother, Danny Wayne Johnson and his sister, Edna Sue Upton.

Survivors include his wife, Carolann Johnson, Hopkinsville, KY; his son, Don (Julie) Johnson, Orange Park, FL; his daughter, Suzanne Johnson, Hopkinsville, KY; his brother, Edward (Marion) Johnson, Clarksville, TN; his sisters, Dorothy (Jim) Weigend, Huntsville, AL, Patty (Randy) Hunt, Crofton, KY; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
