Betty Sue Buckley

Betty Sue Buckley, 84, Cumbee Road, Hopkinsville, KY passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Bradford Heights Health and Rehab of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2022 at Lakeview Baptist Church with Rev. Leroy Crouch officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Lamb Funeral Home.

A native of Hopkinsville, KY, she was born September 27, 1937, the daughter of the late Oscar Fields and the late Mary Louise (Hayes) Fields.

Betty was a cook at Owens Deli and a member of Lakeview Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Eldridge Buckley; her son, Wendell Caleb Buckley; and her brother, Bobby Fields.

Survivors include her sons, Ben Buckley, Hopkinsville, KY, Mark (Wendy Ann) Buckley, Herndon, KY; her brothers, David (Donna) Fields, Auburn, KY, Billy (Faye) Fields, Princeton, KY; her grandchildren, Belinda Deason, William Buckley, and Avery Buckley; and several great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Lakeview Baptist Church, 2755 Vaughns Grove Fairview Road, Pembroke, KY 42266.
