Billy Joe Menser

Billy Joe Menser, 78, Claw Court, Hopkinsville, Kentucky died Monday, October 14, 2019 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 18, 2019 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Henn officiating. Burial will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with full military honors.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 17, 2019 at the funeral home.

A native of Christian County, he was born March 16, 1941, son of the late Leslie "Bunt"  Menser and Oanie McKnight Menser.

He retired as a Supervisor after 27 years with Coca-Cola. He also worked for PACS. He served in the United States Army and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Stella Flynn.

Survivors include his wife, Dot Menser, Hopkinsville; his son, Julius Waldrop, Hopkinsville; his daughters, Sheri O'Neal, Kelly Joyce and Kim Roehr, all of Christian County; his brother, Buddy Menser, Hopkinsville; and his sister, Ray Flynn, Hopkinsville;  6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
