Bobby Houchens, 77, Butler Road, Hopkinsville, KY passed away Sunday April 26, 2026 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center, Hopkinsville, KY of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Lamb Funeral Home with Billie Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Peaceful Meadows Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at the funeral home.
A native of Barren County, KY, he was born on June 7, 1948, the son of the late Robert Houchens and the late Etta Florence (Lemons) Houchens.
Bobby worked for Mid Continent Spring Company for over 20 years and then retired from the construction business. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and VFW Post 1913.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Joe Houchens; his brothers, Wayne Lemons, Terry Houchens, Jerry Lemons, Randy Lemons, and Danny Lemons.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Lee (Dixon) Houchens, Hopkinsville, KY; his sons, Michael Houchens and Shane Houchens, both of Hopkinsville, KY; his daughter, Whitney Houchens, Clarksville, TN; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
