Boyd L. Mick

Boyd L. Mick, 81, Thompsonville Lane, Oak Grove, KY, passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Tennova Health Care-Clarksville in Clarksville, TN of natural causes.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 17, 2021 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

A native of Ireland, West Virginia, he was born February 25, 1940, the son of the late Perry Mick and the late Caroline (Veith) Mick.

Boyd served in the United States Army and was a Helicopter Engineer for Boeing. He was owner and operator of Mick’s Auto Salvage in Oak Grove, KY and Mick’s Ranch in Clarksville, TN. Boyd was a member of American Legion, VFW, and AmVets. He was of the Methodist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Mick; his sisters, Opal Fluharty and Wilda Mick; his brothers, Zane Mick, Ernie Mick, and Jimmy Mick.

Survivors include his sons, Westin Mick of Washington State; Bobby Mick of Florida; Carl Holly of Tennessee; his daughters, Joyce Ingraham of Canada, Mary Mick of California; his sister, Ruth Singleton of West Virginia; 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
