C.A. "Doc" Myers

C.A. "Doc" Myers, 93, Baylane Road, Cadiz, KY, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2025 at Murray Calloway County Hospital of natural causes. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Lamb Funeral Home with Chaplain Paul Ganther officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. 

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday, July 7, 2025 at the funeral home.

A native of Christian County, KY, he was born July 13, 1931, the son of the late Ross Myers and the late Mary Belle (Underwood) Myers. 

Doc served in the United States Navy. He was a boat mechanic for Myers Marine. He was a member of American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, and VFW Post 1913. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nona (Lancaster) Myers; his son, Opie Myers; his daughter, Anna Myers; and his step-daughters, Beverly McDonald and Polly Dunn.

Survivors include his step-sons, T.F. Fowler, Hopkinsville, KY, W.C. Junior Fowler, Cadiz, KY; his step-daughter, Faye Nunn, Hopkinsville, KY; his sister, Ruth Thompson, Hopkinsville, KY; 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
