C.T. "Bill" Gibson

C.T. "Bill" Gibson, 77, Greenville Road, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Baptist Health Deaconess of natural causes. 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 27, 2025 at Lamb Funeral Home with Zack Stokes officiating. Burial will follow in Peaceful Meadows Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Friday, June 27, 2025 at the funeral home. 

A native of Davidson County, TN, he was born August 14, 1947, the son of the late Sam Nick Gibson and the late Recie D. (Powell) Gibson.

Bill served in the United States Air Force. He was a courier for Planters Bank and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Stevenson Gibson; his brothers, Nick Gibson and Doug Gibson; and his sisters, Mary Dame and Betty Jean Agostino.

Survivors include his daughter, Norma Gibson, Hopkinsville, KY; his significant other, Sherry Coates, Hopkinsville, KY; his sisters, Barbara Gibson, Nashville, TN, Norma Todd, Middletown, IN, Peggy Huff, Anderson, IN, and Wanda Brown, Hopkinsville, KY; his grandchild, Taylor (Alan) DeMoss; and his great-grandchild, Arthas DeMoss.
