Carol Bugg

Carol Bugg, 68, Princeton Road, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at her home of natural causes.

A celebration of life will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 18, 2025 at Lamb Funeral Home with Brandon Boone officiating.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until the service hour on Friday, April 18, 2025 at the funeral home.

A native of Henderson, KY, she was born March 7, 1957, the daughter of the late Russell Reardon Below and the late Elizabeth Jane (Maginn) Below.

Carol was a selfless, kind, and loving wife, Mom, MeMaw, sister, and Buggy. She was devoted to her family, taught elementary school for 15 years & volunteered with the Back 2 Back Charity.  Although breast cancer took her too early, she fought with everything she had to stay here on Earth for her family and beagle.

Survivors include her husband, David Bugg, Hopkinsville, KY, her son, Nicholas Bryant (Ashley) Calhoun, Hopkinsville, KY; her daughter, Lauren Michelle (Benjamin) Trimmer, Canton, GA; her brother, James Below, St. Augustine, FL; her sisters, Pat Best and Mary Monaco, both of Florida, Judy Houck and Helen Below, both of Georgia; her granddaughters, Emma Claire Calhoun and Kelsey Calhoun.
