Carol Hargrove Light

Carol Hargrove Light, 81, Lafayette Road, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at her home of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Holland officiating. Burial will follow in Flat Lick Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 23, 2021 at the funeral home.

A native of Bowling Green, KY, she was born March 29, 1940, the daughter of the late Lon Arnold Bostick and the late Lena Nell (Jordan) Bostick.

Carol established and previously owned the Bar-B-Q Shack and Hargrove Construction. She participated in a bowling league and attended Hillcrest Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Herman L. Hargrove, and her second husband, Donald B. Light.

Survivors include her daughters, Frankie (Ricky) Brown, Oneida, KY, Tammy (Dorris) Lamb, Robbie (Billy) Vaughn, Jackey (Danny) Folz, and Jerri (Todd) Saturley, all of Hopkinsville, KY; her brothers, Lonnie (Dixie) Bostick, Hopkinsville, KY, Steve (Laura) Bostick and Jeff (Sue) Bostick, both of Cadiz, KY; her sister, Sharon Robertson, Hopkinsville, KY; 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
