Carolyn Boyd

Carolyn Boyd, 77, Quebec Way, Bowling Green, KY, formerly of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at her home of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 24, 2024 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. Brandon Boone officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, June 23, 2024 at the funeral home. 

A native of Hopkinsville, KY, she was born on November 5, 1946, the daughter of the late Robert Lewis Bryant and the late Edna Ellen Darnell. 

Carolyn was a caregiver and dedicated her time to taking care of those around her. She was of the Baptist faith. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Lynn Boyd.

Survivors include her son, Christopher (Jessica) Scott Boyd, Hopkinsville, KY; her daughter, Lisa Westerman, Bowling Green, KY; her brothers, Ray Bryant, Buffalo, MO, Robert (Sandy) Bryant, Elkton, KY, Gene (Pam) Bryant, Apollo Beach, FL; her sister, Jo (Robert) Miller, Elkton, KY; her grandchildren, Lindsey Westerman, Autumn Nichole Boyd, and Lexi Grace Boyd; and her great-grandchild, Ryne Michael Westerman.

Memorials may be made to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, 2200 Children’s Way, Nashville, TN 37232.
