Carolyn Williams

Carolyn Williams, 79, Camilla Drive, Hopkinsville, KY passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

There will be no immediate services. Internment will be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West at a later date. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

A native of Elkton, KY, she was born July 1, 1944, the daughter of the late Samuel Edward Hadden and the late Liddie (Talley) Hadden.

Carolyn was a homemaker and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lamarr Williams; her brother, Jimmy Hadden; and her sister, Marilyn June Cole.

Survivors include her daughter, Penny (Todd) Downs, Hopkinsville, KY; her grandchildren, Darin (Erin) Downs and Taylor (Ashlie) Downs; and her great-grandchildren, Stiles Downs, Mayes Downs, and Saige Downs.
