Charles T. Hill

Charles T. Hill, 84, Dawson Springs Road, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Alive Hospice, Nashville, TN, of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. Will Grosskopf officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2023 at the funeral home.

A native of Christian County, KY, he was born July 15, 1938, the son of the late James Walter “Ned” Hill and the late Ethal Allen (P’Pool) Hill.

Charles was a tree trimmer and member of Sinking Fork Baptist Church. He loved to hunt and fish.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vada Pearl Hill; his brothers, Douglas Hill and Gaylon Hill; and his sister, Ruby (Hill) Blankenship.

Survivors include his sons, Tommy (Loretta) Hill, Hopkinsville, KY, Anthony Dale (Maria) Hill, of Illinois; his daughters, Jullie West and Melissa (David) Hill, both of Hopkinsville, KY, Brenda (Earl) Ames, Paducah, KY, Paula Jane Rogers, Evansville, IN, Marlene (Steve) Hayward, Aurora, KY; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
