Chuck Jenkins, 64, Colonial Terrace, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at his home of natural causes.
A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2025 at New Work Fellowship Church with Rev. Kevin Lee officiating. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at New Work Fellowship Church.
A native of Hopkinsville, KY, he was born on April 29, 1961, the son of Charles Franklin Jenkins and the late Linda (Mason) Jenkins.
Chuck worked at Metalsa and was a member of the Hopkinsville Community Band, where he played both the trombone and the trumpet. He was also a Christian County weather spotter and a member of New Work Fellowship.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jacki Lynn Jenkins, and his sister, Christina Lynn Jenkins.
Survivors include his son, Charlie (Catherine) Jenkins Jr., Hopkinsville, KY; his daughter, Kristy Lynn (Phillip) Jenkins Gentry, Hopkinsville, KY; his father, Charles Jenkins, Hopkinsville, KY; his sister, Laura (Troy) Edwards, Hopkinsville, KY; his grandchildren, Jacob Tyler Mason, Olivia Lyric Jenkins, and Imogen Aster Jenkins; and his great-grandchildren, Isaiah Mason, Brody Stevenson, and Lyla Jae Mason.
