Colton Hall Obituary

Colton Hall, 27, of Louisville, KY, formerly of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022 at First United Methodist Church, Hopkinsville, KY with Pastor Dan Huck officiating. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 8, 2022 and from 2:30 p.m. until the service hour on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the church. 

The son of Ned Edward Hall and Betty Jane (Johnson) Hall, Colton was born on January 26, 1995 in Fayetteville, NC, but he considered Hopkinsville, KY his hometown.

Colton was a project manager/Civil Engineer at Terracon Consultants. He was a 2013 graduate of University Heights Academy, where he excelled in wrestling and academics. He graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.

He was an avid reader, gamer, enjoyed watching tv shows, and going to the movies weekly with friends. He was a proud member of several fandoms, including Harry Potter, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and many, many more. He was the best dog dad to his Frenchie, Leo. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Morgan and Juanita Hall; and his maternal grandparents, Bill and Katherine Johnson. 

Survivors include his parents, Ned and Betty Hall, Hopkinsville, KY; his sister, Chandler Catherine Hall, Hopkinsville, KY; his bonus sister, Bailey Jo Johnson, Hopkinsville, KY; his French Bulldog, Leo; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
