David S. Sabin, Sr.

David S. Sabin, Sr., 72, Askew Road, Hopkinsville, KY, died Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at his home of natural causes.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

A native of Norwich, NY, he was born August 10, 1947, the son of the late Rexford J. Sabin and the late Dorothy June Pontius Sabin.

He operated Rexson Dairy Farm in New York. He was well known in the local farming community, having been employed by H & R Implement, Roeder Implement, and Roeder Auction Company. David also enjoyed deer hunting and assisting family and friends with their home projects or mechanical repairs.

Survivors include his wife, Jennie Preston-Sabin, Hopkinsville, KY; his son, David S. (Rhonda) Sabin, Jr., Hopkinsville, KY; his daughters, Diane Sabin and Dayle (Todd) Miller, both of Bainbridge, NY, Kate (Matt) Clark, Cloverport, KY; his brothers, Stanley Sabin, Trenton, KY, Keith Sabin, Greene, NY; his sister, Melody Root, Connecticut; and 7 grandchildren.
