Dawson E. Atkinson

Dawson E. Atkinson, 20, Sanderson Drive, Hopkinsville, KY passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at his home of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2022 at Lamb Funeral Home with David Bannister officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Friday, February 11, 2022 at the funeral home.

A native of Hopkinsville, KY, he was born May 8, 2001, the son of Brian Atkinson and Brandie (Dunn) Means.

Dawson loved drag racing.

Survivors include his mother, Brandie (John) Means, Hopkinsville, KY; his father, Brian (Lacey) Atkinson, Todd County, KY; his brothers, Conner Atkinson and Raylan Atkinson, both of Todd County, KY, Andrew Wyatt, Trigg County, KY; his sisters, Adalynn Atkinson, Hopkinsville, KY, Amanda (Mark) McGee, Trigg County, KY, Isabella Atkinson, Todd County, KY; his maternal grandparents, Nancy Dunn, Hopkinsville, KY, James “Bubba” Dunn, Hopkinsville, KY; his paternal grandparents, Ray and Kay Atkinson, Fairview, TN, Joan Atkinson, Tallahassee, FL, Roy and Jan Witty, Trigg County, KY; and his paternal great-grandparent, Dorothy Cohoon, Trigg County, KY.
