Denyse Ann Miller

Denyse Ann Miller, 72, Berne Drive, Oak Grove, KY passed away on Friday, June 19, 2026 at Vanderbilt Clarksville Hospital, Clarksville, TN of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Hendrix officiating and Pamela Napier assisting. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at the funeral home.

A native of Trenton, MI, she was born July 30, 1953, the daughter of the late Thomas Joseph Marshick and the late Beatrice Kyle (Cornett) Marshick.

Denyse lived in Michigan before moving to Jackson, KY, where she spent the majority years of her youth. There she met her future husband, Marshall Miller, and married him on July 8, 1972. In that marital ceremony, Denyse vowed and committed herself to her military husband until death should separate them. After years of military travel, the family settled in their permanent home in Oak Grove, KY in 1996. Denyse Miller remained true to her marital vows as a beloved and devoted wife for 53 years until the time of her death. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Oak Grove Church, Oak Grove, KY. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Cherly Leigh Marshick; her granddaughter, Alexis Harris; her granddaughter-in-law, Yogianah Miller; her unborn great-grandson, baby Miller; her maternal grandparents, James Nelson Cornett and Nora Kelly Cornett; and her paternal grandparents, Thomas Joseph Marshick and Alvira Sterns Marshick McCuan.

Survivors include her husband, Marshall Miller, Oak Grove, KY; her daughters, Jennifer Miller and Jessica (Dontez) Smalls-Harris, both of Clarksville, TN; her sister, Pamela (Wayne) Napier, Clarkson, KY; and her grandchildren, Stephon Miller and Bryden Smalls.
