Dorothy "Dot" Stofer

Dorothy "Dot" Stofer, 93, Campbell Lane, Bowling Green, KY, formerly of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky, Bowling Green, KY of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Lamb Funeral Home with Dr. Joe Bufford officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at the funeral home.

A native of Punxsutawney, PA, she was born August 19, 1929, the daughter of the late Clarence Eugene Ward and the late Flossie Alice (Depp) Ward.

Dot was a homemaker and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She was a member for 60 plus years of the Canton Pike Homemakers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Stofer; her brother, William Depp Ward; her sister, Florence Ward; and her son-in-law, Fred Martin.

Survivors include her sons, Bill (Pamela) Cook Stofer, Jr., Cave Creek, AZ, Bennie (Kimmy) Ward Stofer, Bowling Green, KY; her daughters, Kathryn Stofer Martin and Annie Lee Stofer Best, both of Hopkinsville, KY; her sister, Marilyn Ward Douthit, Punxsutawney, PA; 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
