Dorothy “Ma” Isbrandtsen

Dorothy “Ma” Isbrandtsen, 88, Hillside Terrace, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at her home of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. Vince Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. 

Visitation will be from noon until the service hour on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at the funeral home.

A native of Cerulean, KY, she was born February 4, 1934, the daughter of the late Rudolph Johnson and the late Flora Johnson.

Dorothy was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Isbrandtsen; her son, Steve Newby; and her great-grandson, Jeremy George.

Survivors include her sons, Billy Gloyd and Jeff Gloyd, both of Hopkinsville, KY; her daughters, Peggy (Norman) Abbott, Radcliffe, KY, Debra (Bill) Diak, Granite City, IL, Casey (Rod) Kessler and Tracey (James) Weiner, both of Circleville, OH; 19 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
