Earl E. Sandifer, 86, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Covington’s Convalescent Center of natural causes.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Green Hill Memorial Gardens with Rev. Darrell Crawford officiating. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
A native of Dry Prong, LA, he was born June 14, 1936, the son of the late Lonnie Eugene Sandifer and the late Hattie Belle (Coleman) Sandifer.
Earl served in the United States Army. He was a developer/builder for Sandifer Construction.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Velda Richey Sandifer; his son, Clifton Sandifer; and his sister, Thellos D. Maxwell.
Survivors include his son, Greg (Dana) Sandifer, Hopkinsville, KY; his daughters, Debbie (Chesley, Jr.) Dunn, Hopkinsville, KY, Dona Cooksey, Fairhope, AL; his brother, Larry Wayne Sandifer, Hopkinsville, KY; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
