Edna Mae Austin, 93, Buckner Drive, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Bradford Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. Rob Hoffman officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from noon until the service hour on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the funeral home.
A native of Hopkinsville, KY, she was born January 19, 1932, the daughter of the late Lawrence Hancock and the late Jessie (Unser) Hancock.
Edna had worked for Superintendent Office of City School System, Standard Mill Supply, and retired from Associates Financial Services. She was a member of St. John Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher for the three and four year olds.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Webster G. Austin; her brother, Lawrence Hancock; her sister, Henrietta Mosely; and her son-in-law, Ronnie Lindsey.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Lindsey, Hopkinsville, KY; her son, Samuel (Melinda) Austin, Saint Louis, MO; her grandchildren, Ashley (Chuck) Minton, Casey Williams, Emily (Eric) Igleheart, and Patrick (Miranda) Austin; her great-grandchildren, Jayden Williams, Adam Igleheart, Thomas Igleheart, Carter Buckner, Leah Mae Igleheart, and Hunter Grace Austin.
