Eldridge M. Cumbee

Eldridge M. Cumbee, 97, Gilkey Lane, Hopkinsville, KY passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Baptist Health Deaconess Hospital, Madisonville, KY of natural causes.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Sinking Fork Baptist Church Cemetery with Shane Pickerill officiating. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Lamb Funeral Home.

A native of Christian County, KY, he was born December 18, 1926, the son of the late Leamon Cumbee and the late Lucille (Gilkey) Grace.

Eldridge was a farmer and worked for Altsheller Oil Company. He was a member of Sinking Fork Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Cumbee.

Survivors include his sons, Eldridge "Wayne" (Donna) Cumbee, Christian County, KY, Mike (Stephanie) Cumbee, Caldwell County, KY; his daughter, Donna (Kenneth) Gray, Christian County, KY; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
