Elizabeth Gafford

Elizabeth Gafford, 92, Peppermint Drive, Hopkinsville, KY passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center, Hopkinsville, KY of natural causes. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Lamb Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Dale Combs officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon until this service hour on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at the funeral home.

A native of Montgomery County, TN, she was born July 15, 1930, the daughter of the late Jesse James Johnson and the late Nancy Elizabeth (Jones) Johnson.

Elizabeth was a produce manager at IGA Grocery Store and a member of Sinking Fork Baptist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Edward Knight; her second husband, Robert Gafford; her son, Kevin Edward Knight; her brothers, Harry E. Johnson and J.D. Johnson; her sisters, Marguerite Ulmer and Josephine Jackson.

Survivors include her son, James T. "Texas Jim" Knight, Hopkinsville, KY; 1 grandchild and 4 great-grandchildren.
