Elizabeth "Betty" Baker Gray, 87, N. Lincoln Blvd., Hodgenville, KY, died Monday, March 9, 2020 at Sunrise Manor in Hodgenville, KY of natural causes.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Lamb Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hurricane Baptist Church Cemetery in Trigg County.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the funeral home.
A native of Trigg County, she was born February 4, 1933, the daughter of the late Clyde Baker and the late Edna Wallis Baker.
She was a retired clerk for civil service and a member of the Homemakers Club. She was a devoted member of Edgewood Baptist Church for over 50 years before moving to Hodgenville. She was a gifted vocalist and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon H. Gray; her son, Edward Gray; her daughter-in-law, Ann “Rooney” Gray; her sister, Martha Baker; and her brother, Walter Baker.
Survivors include her son, John Wallis Gray, Hodgenville, KY; her daughter, Vonda Gray (David) Allen, Hodgenville, KY; her daughter-in-law, Genie Gray, Louisville, KY; her brother, Joe (Opal) Baker, Sr., Illinois; her grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth (Paul) Cooper, Hodgenville, KY, Kathryn (Daniel) Tabb, Elizabethtown, KY, and Michael (Andrea) Gray, Louisville, KY; and 6 great-grandchildren.
