Elmer J. Corley

Elmer "J" Corley, 82, Harmony Grove Road, Hopkinsville, KY passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026 at Christian Heights Nursing and Rehab Center, Pembroke, KY of natural causes. 

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at Bainbridge Grove Cemetery. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

A native of Hopkinsville, KY, he was born December 14, 1943, the son of the late Archie Dixon Corley and the late Ruth Helen (Hale) Corley. 

“J” was a truck driver for 51 years at Johnson Transfer Company in Hopkinsville. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Dorothy Louise (Pendleton) Corley; his son, Richard Corley; and his sister, Mildred Ann Allen.

Survivors include his niece, Regina Wade, Hopkinsville, KY.
