Ernestine Shaw

Ernestine Meacham Shaw, 85, Bradshaw Road, Pembroke, KY, passed away Monday, January 2, 2023 at Covington's Convalescent Center of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Salem Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy Stewart officiating and Bro. Jonathan Arvin assisting. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Visitation will be from noon until the service hour on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Salem Baptist Church.

A native of Christian County, KY, she was born January 6, 1937, the daughter of the late Archie Owen Meacham and the late Eura Etta (Craft) Meacham.

Ernestine was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Elmo Homemakers and Salem Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Goeble Meacham; and her sister, Vernell Meacham.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Donald Shaw, Pembroke, KY; her son, Donald Ray (Martha Ann) Shaw, Pembroke, KY; her daughter, Patty Kitchens, Christian County, KY; her sister, Goldie Tucker, Hopkinsville, KY; her grandchildren, Kim Sneed, Casey Perry, Katie Kitchens, and Shannon Kitchens; her great-grandchildren, Kaylee Perry,  Mason Perry, Matt Sneed and Maycee McGuire.
