Frank Arvin, 88, Butler Road, Hopkinsville, KY passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Linda E. White Hospice House, Evansville, IN of natural causes.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with Dr. Joe Bufford officiating. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
A native of Hopkinsville, KY, he was born on December 28, 1932, the son of the late Little Berry Arvin and the late Rosa Belle (Baker) Arvin.
He served in the United States Army and retired from Jennie Stuart Medical Center. He was also a salesman for Woodmen of the World and Montgomery Wards. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, Lions Club, VFW Post 1913, and Traveler's Protection Agency.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Jean (Aldridge) Arvin; his daughter, Debbie Uchiyama; his brother, Raymond Arvin; his half brothers, Ernest Arvin, Little Berry Arvin, and Augustus Arvin; his sister, Helen Cole; and his half sisters, Jean Jewell and Mary McNary.
Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, Grace (Burke) Arvin, Hopkinsville, KY; his sons, Larry Arvin, Hopkinsville, KY, Barry Arvin, Owensboro, KY; his step-sons, Richard Baker, Sonny Baker, Dennis Baker, and Tim Baker, all of Hopkinsville, KY; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
