Frank E. Finchum

Frank E. Finchum, 98, Striped Bridge Road, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024 at his home of natural causes. 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Holland officiating and Rev. Gary Mitchell assisting. Burial will follow in Flat Lick Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at the funeral home.

A native of Jefferson County, TN, he was born February 9, 1926, the son of the late Lester Finchum and the late Mamie (Payne) Finchum.

Frank was a farmer and member of Locust Grove Baptist Church of Christian County, KY.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty Finchum; his brothers, Jack Finchum, Lee Finchum, and Joe Finchum; his sister, Jennie Coppinger; and his grandson, Timothy Wayne Finchum.

Survivors include his son, Wayne (Donna) Finchum, Christian County, KY; his daughter, Susan (Rusty) Meador, Christian County, KY; his brother, Steve Finchum, Christian County, KY; and his grandchildren, Tammy (Austin) Stevenson, Ralph Meador, and Sherry (Matt) Jensen; 4 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
