Fred E. Marshall III

Fred E. Marshall III, 74, Tremont Drive, Hopkinsville, KY passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 at his home of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. Janet Carden officiating. Burial will follow in Peaceful Meadows Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the funeral home.

A native of Glasgow, KY, he was born February 10, 1946 in Louisville, KY, the son of the late Dr. Fred Edward Marshall, Jr. and the late Mavis Diane (Gabbard) Marshall.

He worked for 32 years at Hopkinsville Community College as Professor of Human Services and served as Dean of Students. He was a member of Saint John United Methodist Church and a member of Jaycees.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda L. Marshall, and his sister, Deborah Williams.

Survivors include his son, Todd E. (Tina) Marshall, Hopkinsville, KY; his daughter, Erin L. Marshall, Glasgow, KY; his brother, Jimmy Marshall, Glasgow, KY; and his grandchildren, Ava Marshall, Jacob Wolf, Lily Wolf, and Ty Marshall.
