Gene Hageman, 83, Redbud Drive, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital of natural causes.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2025 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. David Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with full military honors.
Visitation will be held from noon until the service hour on Monday, May 12, 2025 at the funeral home.
A native of Sedalia, MO, he was born on July 27, 1941, the son of the late James Andrew Hageman, Sr. and the late Edna Lee (Jones) Hageman.
Gene served in the United States Army, where he retired as a Master Sergeant and did three tours in Vietnam. He also worked as a stockroom manager for JCPenney and was a member of the North Carolina Bass Club.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his four brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Janice Fay Hageman, Hopkinsville, KY; his sons, Donald (Lorie) Hageman, Robert Hageman, and Darryl (Jo Ellen) Hageman, all of Hopkinsville, KY; his sister, Mary Rose Cressley, Sedalia, MO; his 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
