George Oliver

George “Junior” Oliver, 90, Fulcher School Road, Pembroke, KY, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Lamb Funeral Home with Dickie Oliver officiating. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 26, 2022 at the funeral home.

A native of Todd County, KY, he was born February 17, 1932, the son of the late George Oliver and the late Elizabeth (Graham) Oliver.

Junior was a farmer and mechanic. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Oliver; his sons, Marty Oliver and Porter Oliver; his daughter, Geraldine Robertson; his brothers, Clyde Oliver, Charles Oliver, Dennis Oliver, Ronnie Oliver, Lawrence Oliver, and Jerry Oliver; his sisters, Carolyn Hester, Marilyn Fletcher, Susie Elliott, Helma Boren, and Betty Johnson.

Survivors include his son, Elvis Oliver, Todd County, KY; his daughters, Alice Harris, Cadiz, KY, Tonya Francies, Crofton, KY; his brother, William Oliver, Todd County, KY; his sister, Doris Oliver, Hopkinsville, KY; 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
