Harry Hester Jr., 82, Linda Drive, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital, Nashville, TN of natural causes.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Richard Meredith officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 28, 2021 with a Rosary service at 6:00 p.m. at Lamb Funeral Home.
A native of Hopkinsville, KY, he was born October 31, 1938, the son of the late Harry Savells Hester Sr. and the late Dorothy Nevin (Gardner) Hester.
Harry retired from Thomas Industries as head of payroll. He also previously worked at Keightly Funeral Home and operated Loveland Stables. He was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the American Walking Horse Association.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Hester, and his sister, Helen Hester Armstrong.
Survivors include his brother, Charles (Marie) Hester, Montgomery, AL; his sisters, Harriette (Billy) Hancock, Hopkinsville, KY and Aileen (Robert) White, Brentwood, TN.
