Hayden Johnson, 84, Ashland City, TN; died Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Vantage Pointe Village, Ashland City, TN of natural causes.
Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with full military honors.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday at Lamb Funeral Home.
A native of Cadiz, Kentucky, he was born July 9, 1934 the son of the late Amos Lamont Johnson and Lois Elizabeth Keith Johnson.
He was a executive in materials management for Tennessee Valley Authority. He was a US Air Force Veteran and served in the Vietnam War.
A Recipient of the Bronze Star, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic Of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Good Contact Medal, Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm, Longevity Service Award, and numerous other Air Force decorations.
Survivors include his wife, Ida Gillett Johnson, his sons, Hayden S. Johnson Jr., Jacksonville, FL., William L. Johnson, Ashland City, Tenn., and Scott B. Johnson, Woodworth, LA; his brothers, Dotson Johnson, Louisville KY., Gene Johnson, Gerald Johnson and Merrill Johnson, all of Hopkinsville, KY.; his sisters, Margie Glover, Hopkinsville, KY., and Deanna Lang, Florida; and his grandchildren, Alyssa, Jaden, Landen, Luke, Jessie, Griffin and Tegan Johnson.
