Henry Breithaupt

Henry Breithaupt, 95, Clarks Store-Sinking Fork Road, Crofton, KY, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023 at his home of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. Brandon Boone officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens with full military honors.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at the funeral home.

A native of Wharton, TX, he was born February 1, 1928, the son of the late Hugo Breithaupt and the late Mary (Chudalla) Breithaupt.

Henry retired as Staff Sergeant from the United States Army, where he served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. He was a mechanic and truck driver. He was member of Edgewood Baptist Church and VFW Post 1913.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Mayton Breithaupt; his sisters, Charlene Klimple and Wilma Fay Breithaupt.

Survivors include his sons, Bram Ferrell (Nancy) Breithaupt, of North Carolina, William (Kim) Breithaupt, Christian County, KY, Robert (Connie) McGahee, Hopkinsville, KY; his daughter, Brenda Ann (Dennis)  Russell, Nashville, TN; his brothers, Melvin Breithaupt, Savannah, GA, Leroy Breithaupt and Butch Breithaupt, both of Wharton, TX, and Hugo “Jr.” Breithaupt, McDade, TX; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
