Henry Kumpfmuller

Henry Kumpfmuller, 88, Wayne Drive, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023 at his home of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Lamb Funeral Home with Father Christopher Kight officiating. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with full military honors. 

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at the funeral home. 

A native of Munich, Germany, he was born August 24, 1934, the son of the late Heinrich Kumpfmuller and the late Theres (Bach) Kumpfmuller.

Henry retired after 24 years in the United States Army. He also retired from White Hydraulics. He was a member of Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Hannelore Kumpfmuller.  

Survivors include his sons, Thomas H. (Debbie) Kumpfmuller and Kenneth G. Kumpfmuller, both of Hopkinsville, KY; his daughter, Susan Sanders, Hopkinsville, KY; his grandchildren, Ashley Vaughn, Clay Kumpfmuller, Alexandra Wipple, Brooke Wipple, Ross Wipple, and Haley Kranz; and his great-grandchildren, Anelise and Adam Vaughn.
