Jack Vonderhaar

Jack Vonderhaar, 98, Lafayette Road, Hopkinsville, KY passed away Sunday, March 1, 2026 at his home in Hopkinsville, KY of natural causes.

A family graveside service will be held Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Cincinnati, OH. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

A native of Cincinnati, OH, he was born December 2, 1927, the son of the late Bernard Vonderhaar and the late Caroline (Sterwerf) Vonderhaar.

Jack served in the United States Navy. He was a truck driver and a member of Teamsters Union. He loved bowling, basketball, his family, and Cincinnati.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margie June (Kaylor) Vonderhaar; his son, Mark Vonderhaar; and his daughter, Bonita Richey.

Survivors include his sons, Richard (Regina) Vonderhaar, Indianapolis, IN, David (April) Vonderhaar, Hudson, FL; his son-in-law, Roger Richey, Hopkinsville, KY; his daughter-in-law, Susan Vonderhaar, of Idaho; his grandchildren, Jennifer Combs, Ashley Glover, Holly Owens, Amber Baker, Sarah Vonderhaar, Kate Vonderhaar, Tessa Vonderhaar, and Joey Vonderhaar; 13 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
