James Allen Baker

James Allen Baker, 59, Phelps Avenue, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Monday, April 7, 2025 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2025 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. William Moorefield officiating. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour on Friday, April 11, 2025 at the funeral home.

A native of Richmond, KY, he was born February 19, 1966, the son of the late Holbert Ray Baker and the late Velma (Combs) Baker.

James served in the United States Army and worked at Western State Hospital for 23 years as a computer technician. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald Ray Baker and Mark Baker.

Survivors include his brother, Clifton Baker, Charlottesville, VA.
