James Lee Peeler

James Lee Peeler, 60, West 19th Street, Hopkinsville, KY passed away Friday, December 16, 2022 at Baptist Health Deaconess Hospital, Madisonville, KY of natural causes.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

A native of Chicago, Illinois, he was born June 29, 1962, the son of the late Vernon McCoy Peeler and the late Dorothy (Lile) Peeler.

James worked in construction finishing drywall.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bettie Peeler; his brothers, Johnny Peeler and Gerald Peeler; his sisters, Joy (Peeler) Popelka and Jeanette (Peeler) Matheny.

Survivors include his son, Keith Peeler, Hopkinsville, KY; his daughter, Sarah Peeler, of Maine; and his brother, Vernon Peeler, of North Carolina.
