James Walker

James Walker, 68, Sablecrest Drive, Houston, TX, formerly of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest, Houston, TX of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2023 at Lamb Funeral Home, with Bro. McKinley Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2023 at the funeral home.

A native of Hopkinsville, KY, he was born November 12, 1954, the son of the late Cecil Garland Walker and the late Allie Mae (Cavanah) Walker.

James was self employed and a member of Woods and Water Hunting Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Walker. 

Survivors include his daughter, Jamie (Chad) Woods, Rice, TX; his brother, Barry Walker, Hopkinsville, KY; his sister, Carolyn (Walker) Glass, Hopkinsville, KY; and granddaughter, Lainey Woods.
