Jeanette Ann Higgins

Jeanette Ann Higgins, 92, Lincoln Hills Senior Living, New Albany, IN, passed away Monday, August 19, 2024 at her home of natural causes. 

A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2024 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

A native of Butte, Montana, she was born January 10, 1932, the daughter of the late Erick Smith and the late Francis (Hrvatin) Smith. 

Jeanette was an LPN for Columbia Healthcare Center in Evansville, IN. She was a member of Mt. Gilead General Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry S. Higgins; her brother, Frankie Smith.

Survivors include her sons, Jerry (Jenna) Norris Higgins, Greenville, IN, Patrick (Dinah) Bailey, Homosassa, FL, Michael (Maria) Bailey, Russellville, KY, and Marty (Robin) Bailey, Long Beach, CA.
