Jewell Wayne Jones, Sr.

Jewell “Tootie” Wayne Jones, Sr., 69, B White Road, Elkton, KY passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024 at his home of natural causes.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

A native of Hopkinsville, KY, he was born December 29, 1954, the son of the late Elgie Hazel Jones and the late Rose Ella (Harris) Jones.

Jewell had previously worked in the tobacco fields for Morgan Farms. He was a member of Cross Point Ministries.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Paulette Jones; his sons, Sydney Wayne Jones and Andrew “Country” Jones. 

Survivors include his son, Jewell W. Jones, Jr., Elkton, KY; his brothers, Thomas Jones and Robert Jones, both of Hopkinsville, KY; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
