Jimmie “Doc” Williams

Jimmie “Doc” Williams, 77, E. Otis Circle, Hopkinsville, KY, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021 at his home of natural causes.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Lamb Funeral Home.

A native of Trenton, KY, he was born August 30, 1944, the son of the late Charlie Williams and the late Levy (Henderson) Williams.

Doc served in the United States Army. He was also a supervisor at Wasco Incorporated for 30 years. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond Williams and Frank Williams.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Jean Gates Williams, Hopkinsville, KY; his son, Jimmie “Jay” Williams, Crofton, KY; his daughter, Charity Miller, Clarksville, TN; his sisters, Barbara Carranza, Ann Martin, and Libby Williams, all of Hopkinsville, KY; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
